My Week: Rock At A Local Festival & A Roll Of Film
In this newsletter, I thought I'd simply share with you some of the photos I've taken this week...
Please note: There are quite a lot of images in this newsletter, so if you are reading this in your email, it’s possible that you may not receive all of them. If this is the case, please click the ‘view in browser’ link at the top of the email. Thank you.
This week has been a good one. I was commissioned to photograph a local festival last Saturday and then during the week I received back the first roll of film I’d put through my birthday camera, a lovely black Pentax ME Super bought for me by my wife Debbie. So I simply thought I’d share some of these latest photos with you this week, and hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did taking them.
FITZFEST 25
FITZFEST 25 was held by a local day care centre run by the national charity FitzRoy in Fakenham. The centre works specifically with people with learning disabilities and autism. It was an all-day inclusive community festival with this great strapline: “no fear, no judgment”! And it was wonderful. I’ve worked with FitzRoy before and they are a fantastic organisation. They put on a great event and here are some of my favourite shots from the day.
The first roll through my Pentax ME Super
I’m loving learning how to adapt to taking photographs on film. It’s a different experience to digital (not better or worse, just different), and it entails a different attitude and a slower, more deliberate pace. Here are some of my favourites from this roll of Kodak Gold 200.
PS - these images were processed and scanned by Stuck in Film whom I can wholeheartedly recommend (for those of you in the UK). I’m not paid by them or linked to them in any way, other than as a customer. And as a customer of theirs, I have a referral code I can offer you via this link. If you use it you will get 20% off film processing and scanning, and I will too! Can’t be bad.
So that was my week in photos. As always, thank you for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed the photos this week. Any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Until next time, take care and God bless,
Keith
Love the overturned pram photo.
Great photos as always Keith. Lovely to see folk enjoying themselves.
